Truly Truly is a design studio operating from the Netherlands, founded by the Australian couple Joel and Kate Booy. You might know them from their work they created with Hella Jongerius. Because of this and other amazing designs, we asked them to design Soundskins.
developed by textielmuseum
Besides inspiring exhibitions, the TextielMuseum features a highly innovative TextielLab. This TextielLab helped to create the best skin possible, since they are the absolute experts in innovation. A 3D knitted form was developed with several types of materials in their specialized workshop.
Funded by Kickstarter!
To get Soundskins out there, we asked a bit of help from fellow Soundskins fans. On the 28th of November, we launched our very own Kickstarter campaign.
And guess what? We reached our goal within 8 hours! During this campaign – that lasted a month – we received so much positive feedback. This meant Soundskins was able to actually be realized.
And yes, the result is there! Soundskins is available now and you can order yours on this website. We’re excited to send Soundskins to even more music fans, design admirers, interior lovers… aka you?
